Shrove Tuesday Feast

This morning, students participated in a special Shrove Tuesday feast. The Holy Spirit Catholic School Council organized a pancake snack for students and staff. Hundreds of pancakes were made and served to students from JK to grade 8.

In keeping with Catholic tradition, Pancake Tuesday is celebrated each year at Holy Spirit. Shrove Tuesday is a day marking the end of ordinary time and signals that the Lenten season is coming. Our Shrove Tuesday feast is only possible thanks to the parents who volunteer their time year after year.

A huge THANK YOU to the many parents who spent their morning mixing, pouring, baking, flipping and serving pancakes to the entire Holy Spirit student body.
